Having grown up in India, Rymn completed her BA (Literature) at Delhi University, before leaving for the US. Next degree: MFA in Graphic Design at the Center for Creative Studies in Michigan.
NYC followed: Started at Eric Baker Design as a Junior Designer, on to Spot Design as a Senior Designer, moved to Little, Brown and Co. as an Art Director and finally to Sony Music as a Senior Art Director.
In 2001, Rymn started a creative studio, whose clients include: Penguin Random House, Columbia Films, Nickelodeon, Simon and Schuster, The MOMA, Bloomsbury Books, Asia Society, Hearst Publishing, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The New York Times, Paramount Pictures, HBO, American Express, RBC Capital markets, Oppenheimer Co., Aleph Books, Hearst Corp, Conde Nast Publishing, Platform magazine, The Taj Hotels, Belmond hotels, and Tablet Hotels amongst others.
In addition to branding and creative direction, she also writes for various publications including Vogue, CN Traveller, Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Weltkunst Magazine, Elle Magazine, T magazine, Platform Magazine, Verve Magazine, Yolo Journal, Fathom away, and Instants from Relais and Chateaux.
In 2006, Rymn launched +RYMN, a creative consultancy working with luxury brands, magazines, publishing houses, hotels and entertainment to bring to life a creative vision: to design, art direct and reshape the brands we work with. We tell inventive and creative stories through a range of mediums – from brand work to book design, photography to illustration, video and film, editorial and writing.
+RYMN collaborations span a range of clients from India to Paris to NYC and everything in between.
